Do you have a restaurant? vs Is there a restaurant?
These two questions have different meanings and usage:
1. "Do you have a restaurant?"
This question is asking a specific person or business if they own or operate a restaurant.
It is usually asked in situations like:
✅ Talking to a hotel owner: "Do you have a restaurant in this hotel?"
✅ Asking a friend: "Do you have a restaurant?" (Meaning: "Do you own a restaurant?")
2. "Is there a restaurant?"
This question is asking if a restaurant exists in a certain place (not about ownership).
It is usually asked in situations like:
✅ "Is there a restaurant nearby?" (Asking if a restaurant exists in the area.)
✅ "Is there a restaurant in this hotel?" (Asking if the hotel has one, but not directly to the owner.)
Key Difference:
"Do you have a restaurant?" → Asking if someone owns or operates a restaurant.
"Is there a restaurant?" → Asking about the existence of a restaurant in a location.
